VolaVola is a choral story that tells various facets of contemporary lifestyles, comparing feelings and world views of three different generations. The underlying assumption of the film is that the use of certain media, affects the definition of needs and aspirations of choice, for those who benefit. Although it is a drama, VolaVola exudes confidence for the future. The story clearly shows the hope that we are living the last days of a long winter, and that the value system on which the internet generation is founded will help make the world a better place.
Although it will be starring avatars, VolaVola is a visceral film about human beings, an invitation to be alive and alert, to always have your own and new vision about things. The atmosphere will be syncopated, hyper-realistic, slightly surreal, not minimalistic, very hard and always suspended.
From a strictly linguistic point of view, it will attempt to unite, in a dense but free way, shooting techniques and styles of its various media together in the belief that the shift from remediation to visual mashup is an important formalisation of the need to regenerate the film practice. By shifting the emphasis of one's action from the mere metalinguistic reflection, to a vocabulary reutilization, we can pursue a deeper interaction with reality.
