BOOKWARS is the gritty world of New York City street booksellers told in a remarkable story that chronicles their lives and loves and their unique perspectives on life.  Made by an actual street bookseller during then-New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani's controversial 'Quality of Life' campaign, 'BookWars' is the only first person documentary which details this unique slice of New York City history.

As seen on Arte/ZDF, SVT, NHK, PBS, Metrochannels, and other stations around the world - but with manyvirgin territories available.
