Freda, an Afro-descendant from Ecuador founded in Argentina a cultural center that gathered most of the Afro-descendants in Buenos Aires, a "white" city. The house on Defensa1464 had been loan to Freda but soon received a buying offer, Freda didn´t move-out. The landlord tried to force-her out by cutting the services. For 2-years she kept the center alive with two car batteries and candles. One day trying to repair electrical connections, Freda found a tunnel that allegedly was used to trade African slaves. She immediately, tried to create a museum of Afro-Argentinean history there to avoid loosing this tangible proof of her ancestor´s-past. Through her journey we will meet 6 Afro-Argentinians 6th generation of slaves who will tell us the stories their grandparents told them, the story ot their real history.
