Gustavo Cardozo

Gustavo is a entrepaneur that started his career in show business in his native Uruguay. At first, working for a small TV production company until fate had him flying into Miami for the production of a TV segment. His charm, charisma and know-how very much impressed local producers in Miami, who suggested for him to stay and harvest his talent in the US. Since that moment on, Gustavo decided to stay in the US and follow the American dream. His dream was to become a successful producer in the US, dream that well on its way of being accomplished. Gustavo produced his first feature “Death Calls”, an action thriller that has won many awards. Followed that production with the film “Duel of Legends” starring Cary Tagawa (“Memoirs of a Geisha”, “Mortal Kombat”, “Pearl Harbor”, etc.), Quinton Jackson (“The A-Team”), Hector Echavarria (“Urivaled”, “Never Surrender”, “Confessions of a Pitfighter”). This film is set to be released in 2010. Gustavo’s ability to produce has attracted many stars and writers around the world including: Gary Van Hass (very famous European writer, whose books have reached the New York’s Best Sellers list). International award winner cinematographer, Curtis Petersen, who has worked with stars such as Charles Bronson, Sidney Portier, and Sylvester Stallone, just to mention a few. Mr. Cardozo is currently working as a producer with Destiny Entertainment Production, a Hollywood based Production Company which has produced pictures for the power studio Lionsgate and is now working with major companies such as Sony and Anchor Bay.
