Ninja Warpath (Advanced Screening) - I was fortunate enough to receive an advanced copy of Rene Perez and iDiC Entertainments latest film, Ninja Warpath recently and let me tell ya', Perez and Co. are back again with both barrels blazing. Fueled by a hard driving soundtrack (provided courtesy of Perez's band, iDiC), and non-stop action, Perez's latest venture may just be his best to date. In the film a stealthy, Ninja-like character, storms a heavily guarded stone compound. The mysterious figure takes out the guards one by one using nothing more than a sidearm, a knife, and an amazing display of Martial Arts ability. The action is quick paced, but not too hectic to leave you wondering what's going on. Obtaining a map from the fortress, the man in black shoots his way out of the compound and heads to a small village to continue his mission. Like the fortress, the village is also heavily guarded by soldiers. With the stealth of a spider on the wall, and the agility of a jungle cat, the dark commando makes quick work of the unsuspecting sentries, bringing him one step closer to finishing his mission. Freeing a frightened girl from a hidden tomb, the man has found what he was searching for, or so it seems...I will reveal no more my good children, the conclusion of this film has a unique twist, easily making it a surprise worth waiting for. With some well executed cinematography, exotic shooting locations, and enough action to give you whiplash, Ninja Warpath is without a doubt the most fun I've ever had reviewing a film from iDiC Entertainment. This project is a perfect example of getting the job done by working the angles, meaning.. outside of a strong script, a film is only as good as it's foundation, and this film uses everything to captivate the audience, and keep them hungry for more. Well done Rene! Ninja Warpath will be made available soon on DVD, along with a prequel comic book. I will keep you updated with release info.
